Commercial Design That Drives Engagement

As Deputy Art Director at People en Español, including its English-language section People Chica, I created visuals that reached over 7.1 million readers per issue and connected with Millennial and Gen-Z Latinas. My commercial design approach blends cultural relevance with strategic creativity—developing bilingual, high-impact visuals that help brands connect with diverse audiences, elevate products, and inspire lasting engagement.

Design with Purpose for the Nonprofit Sector

Building on that commercial expertise, I brought a different creative vision to La Viña, where I served as Art Director and Photo Editor. I revitalized the magazine’s visual identity by transitioning it from black-and-white to full color and aligning its aesthetics with its mission. This nonprofit design style emphasized clarity, warmth, and accessibility—making the publication more engaging and helping increase readership among individuals overcoming addiction.

Early Work: Building Brands with H&R Estudio

As a co-founder of H&R Estudio, I leveraged my academic background in Visual and Liberal Arts to create advertising and book designs for national and international clients. Collaborating with companies such as Merck & Co., Roche, and Lagoven S.A., I delivered creative design solutions that strengthened brand identity and communicated messages with clarity and impact.
