I am a bilingual Creative Director, multimedia designer, and storyteller based in New York, with over two decades of experience in editorial and digital media. Early in my career, I designed for Columbia House and El Diario NY, where my work was recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Publications. I went on to spend more than 20 years as Deputy Art Director at People en Español, the most widely read Spanish-language magazine in the U.S., where I shaped its visual identity, designed award-winning fashion and beauty features, and contributed to People Chica, the English-language section for millennial and Gen-Z Latinas. I also expanded the brand’s digital presence through video production and branded content.

Beyond publishing, I have produced short documentaries in Cuba and New York, collaborated on independent films and television projects, and led the redesign of La Viña, an international nonprofit magazine. I have also taught Editorial Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York, sharing my knowledge with the next generation of creatives.

Today, as a freelance Creative Director and storyteller, I help brands, organizations, and publications craft powerful visual narratives that connect with audiences across cultures and platforms.
